In loving memory of Charlie David Brian McMeekin, born 18 February 2022 and passed 19 April 2023, aged just 14 months.

A real-life hero — brave, strong, and full of light. Charlie spent most of his short life in hospital, facing challenges that would have overwhelmed many, yet he did it all with a smile that melted hearts.

Charlie was born with CHARGE syndrome, a rare and complex genetic condition that affects multiple parts of the body, including the heart, eyes, ears, and airways. He also lived with dumping syndrome and one kidney — but despite it all, he was full of fight and joy. He taught everyone around him what it means to be strong, to love deeply, and to never give up.

CHARGE syndrome affects approximately 1 in 10,000 births. Every child’s experience is unique, but all share the same spirit of resilience and courage. Through Charlie’s memory, his family hopes to raise awareness and honour every little warrior who battles the condition.

About the scent:

Mr Mouse is a cheerful, tropical-inspired fragrance bursting with grapefruit, pineapple, and rhubarb, leading into papaya, peach, and red fruits, and resting on a warm base of sweet vanilla, caramel, and musk. It’s bright, comforting, and joyful — just like Charlie.

Charlie’s favourite teddy, Danny the Donkey, and the colours of sunshine and orange are symbols of his warmth and light. His family remembers him through rainbows, white butterflies, and feathers, small but powerful signs that he’s never far away.

His funeral songs — Visiting Hours by Ed Sheeran and Never Love Again by Lady Gaga — echoed his story of love, bravery, and the unbreakable bond between a parent and child.

During his farewell, doves from Acts of Dove were released, soaring high — just like Charlie’s beautiful spirit.

Through his story, Charlie’s family raises awareness of CHARGE syndrome, bronchopneumonia, Group Strep B, and Norovirus — because every baby’s story deserves to be heard, and no parent should ever walk alone in their grief or their fight.

🌿 About the Wax

Our melts are hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax for a cleaner, longer-lasting scent throw. Each clamshell contains approx. 77g of wax, with each segment giving 8–12 hours of fragrance depending on your burner and room size — that’s up to 48+ hours of scent per clamshell.

As each wax melt is handmade, colours and designs may vary slightly from batch to batch.

🔥 Wax Melt Safety

Use in a well-ventilated area, away from drafts, pets, and children.

Only use in an unscented, 4-hour tealight burner or an electric wax melt warmer designed for melts.

Never add water to your burner.

Do not move the burner while in use or while the wax is hot.

Extinguish the tealight or turn off your warmer before the wax is fully evaporated.

Allow wax and burner to fully cool before cleaning or re-use.
