*“Elodie was absolutely perfect — she left an imprint on every heart that met her. She means the world to us, and we miss her so much every day. Her colour was always lemon yellow, a shade she looked so beautiful in. A giraffe holding a balloon will always remind us of her, as it’s the animal on her princess crown headstone.

We feel honoured that a scent is being created in her memory, because it means she is never forgotten. We always call her our little star, and she even has her own star in the sky. The ‘burst’ in this scent makes us think of the sun breaking through the clouds every time we visit her.

We think Elodie would want to be remembered with light. She would want us to know she’s watching over her big brother Hudson and her baby sister. ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ and The Fox and the Hound will forever remind us of her.

Elodie’s journey was touched by something very rare — a hypercoiled cord, which led to fetal malperfusion. It’s something not often spoken about, and in many cases it does not lead to stillbirth. But for our family, it changed everything.
