Hudson filled every moment with love. With soft auburn hair, a tiny button nose, long little fingers like mummy’s and daddy’s beautiful eyes, he was the bravest, most perfect fighter.

His story:

Hudson was born with non-immune fetal hydrops (NIHF)—a rare condition that causes fluid to build up in a baby’s body before birth. He spent seven precious days in NICU wrapped in love: skin-to-skin cuddles, “golden drops,” and the sweetest gazes while listening to songs like You Are My Sunshine. His first comforter was Iggle Piggle.

Hedgehogs will always be “his”—from the Hedgehog Room where so many memories were made to the keepsakes and tattoos worn in his honour. Blue elephants, robins, rainbows, and cloud shapes that look like little H’s are the signs his family treasure—reminders that Hudson is always close. His family share his story to gently raise awareness of NIHF so no one feels alone.

Fresh mountain air meets soft snowfall: frosted bluebells and wild berries drift over cool, airy woods and clean musk—like a clear, starry night above quiet peaks. It’s crisp, peaceful and comforting; a breath of calm that feels like Hudson’s hug.
