Listen Mummy, please don’t cry,

I’m safe, I’m warm, I’m close nearby.

I see your tears, I know you’re in pain,

but love like ours will still remain.

When you feel lost or days turn long,

just whisper me your favourite song.

I’ll drift around you, soft and near,

my tiny heart still beating here.

You gave me all I’ll ever need,

your love, your touch, your every deed.

No need for tears or last goodbyes —

I live within your heart and skies.

So smile for me when mornings start,

I’m never far — we’re not apart.

In every breeze and lullaby,

I’m with you Mummy please don’t cry.
