Born sleeping on 3rd November 2023 at 28 weeks + 5 days, arriving at 10:57am — the moment the world gained a little light who now shines from above.
From the day her mummy learned she was expecting, Skylah held her whole heart. She was her Skylah Bear — a sweet baby girl who would hiccup every evening as if she were saying, “I’m here, mummy.” Her wardrobe was full of bear outfits because they suited her gentle, precious spirit so perfectly.
One of her most cherished outfits was a space-themed sleepsuit — chosen because of the words her great-grandad always said:
“I love you to the moon and back.”
When he bought that sleepsuit for Skylah after learning she would be born sleeping, it became a symbol of generations of love wrapped around her.
He passed away in April 2024, not long after Skylah — two hearts forever intertwined, both watching over their family together.
