In loving memory of Shay Blu Taylor, born on 2 September 2024 and passed on 8 May 2025, aged 8 months.

A one-of-a-kind little boy who made his own rules, broke the books, and lived every day his way.

Lovingly known as Shay Bear, he was a chunky, happy boy — always moving, always hungry, and forever pulling his cheeky two-finger pose. His favourite place was snuggled up on his mummy’s chest, where he felt safe, warm, and loved beyond measure.

About the scent:

Hotel Marmalade is a warm, comforting house blend of Hotel of Dreams and Rhubarb Marmalade — where zesty fruit meets creamy vanilla and soft musk. Sweet, playful, and full of sunshine, it captures Shay’s joyful, mischievous spirit and his love for food (especially marmalade sandwiches, just like his Paddington bear 🐻).

Shay’s memory lives on in red and blue, in bears, and in the gentle signs of floating feathers that appear when he’s near. His siblings, Ray (11) and Bonny (8), carry his light and laughter in their hearts every day.

His funeral songs — “For the Kids” by Junk M85 and The Paddington Bear Theme Tune — filled the air with love and a touch of playful magic, perfectly reflecting the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.

Through his story, Shay’s family gently raise awareness of Costello Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that shaped his short but extraordinary life.

🌿 About the Wax

Our melts are hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax for a cleaner, longer-lasting scent throw. Each clamshell contains approx. 77g of wax, with each segment giving 8–12 hours of fragrance depending on your burner and room size — that’s up to 48+ hours of scent per clamshell.

As each wax melt is handmade, colours and designs may vary slightly from batch to batch.

🔥 Wax Melt Safety

Use in a well-ventilated area, away from drafts, pets, and children.

Only use in an unscented, 4-hour tealight burner or an electric wax melt warmer designed for melts.

Never add water to your burner.

Do not move the burner while in use or while the wax is hot.

Extinguish the tealight or turn off your warmer before the wax is fully evaporated.

Allow wax and burner to fully cool before cleaning or re-use.
