Sol is his mummy and daddy’s precious boy — their fourth baby, so deeply loved, so wanted, and forever part of their family. With his dark hair, button nose, and perfect pouted lips, he looked just like his big brother, weighing only 3lbs of pure perfection. Sol has 2 big brothers, a big sister and a little sister.

Soft, radiant, and just a little mysterious — like golden hour in a tropical garden. Chosen to honour Sol, whose name means the sun in Spanish, and whose memory shines as brightly as the sunflowers that bloom each year in his honour.

Sol’s colour is yellow, and sunflowers will always be his symbol. His family wears yellow and blue to remember him, filling their home with sunflowers in his memory. Since losing him, dragonflies and the number 11:11 have appeared as signs, small reminders of their guardian angel. On his birthday, Sol’s mummy and daddy even witnessed a rare shooting star — a breathtaking sign that their boy is near.

Coldplay’s A Sky Full of Stars is his special song, a reminder that although his time here was too short, his love fills every sky.
